Michael Harrison Blues

Michael Harrison began his career as an independent musician in 1979. With the help of great musicians in Colorado, he produced an album of his original songs - Easy Money. Jazzman and Sometimes When I Look Into Your Eyes were (and still are) particularly popular.

He was offered a recording contract with Warner Brothers in the early 80's. Unfortunately, Warner Brothers went over budget with a particular band that year; the offer went by the way side.

He spent time in northern California, playing clubs and radio shows with other great blues artists, always trying to put together a working band. Finding serious musicians to play has been the most difficult aspect of music for Michael.

Lost in the Blues was created with some very talented studio musicians. Much of the Lost in the Blues album is standard blues songs, rewritten and performed Michael Harrison style. There are original songs on the album, as well - In From The Storm one of the best performers .

Michael Harrison is a self-published indie musician, through his Dark Star Recording label. Thanks for listening!
